MatSpeed Automotive Development has been involved in motorsport since the early eighties. Their early involvement in motorsport revolves around the world of rally in the United Kingdom. With the company based in Malaysia does not limit Matspeed to participate in the neighboring countries, namely New Zealand, Japan and Thailand.

The Chief Engineer, Mohd. Husni a.k.a Charlie, is the backbone of their success. To date, the company has done various development projects with Proton and U.T.M. The company is also the only Malaysian Company producing racing E.C.U and high performance camshafts. Awarded with Approved R&D status by the Ministry of Finance & MIDA.
